On July 18, the police arrested the accused van driver Mohammad Arif. An FIR was also lodged against Kidji’s school manager Sandeep Kumar for non -verification of the driver.

Mother said- the private part of the girl was injured
The girl studies at a private school in Indiranagar. The family is a Dalit. The mother told in the FIR- the school van has been installed for the daughter. The van school manager had done it. The daughter looked quite upset and depressed after returning from school on 14 July.
On asking a lot, the daughter pointed to the private part and said- there is a lot of pain. When I saw, his private part was injured. I then immediately took him to a private doctor. He got his treatment done.
When asked the daughter, she told that Uncle, the driver of the school van, has done dirty acts. I got very upset. When I reached the school to complain about this, the driver of the van was found there.
When I complained to her, Arif abused me caste and threatened to kill me. Said- If you complain, I will make you and your child disappear.
The school manager tried to suppress the case
When the victim’s family told Sandeep Kumar, the manager of the Kidji School, he also did not take any action against the driver. Not only this, he repeatedly tried to suppress the case. Did not cooperate with the victim’s family.
Police sent the accused to jail, FIR on school manager also DCP Eastern Zone Shashank Singh said- On July 18, accused Mohammad Arif (25) was arrested from Kalyan apartment. He is a resident of Indiranagar. He has been booked under rape, Poxo Act and SC, ST Act.
The school management’s negligence was found due to not having a female attendant in the van and non -verification of the driver. Due to this, a case has also been registered against manager Sandeep Kumar. The school’s CCTV is being tested. The role of the school’s manager is being investigated.
