In fact, MS Prostin Hotels and Resorts Private Limited was hearing a petition on Friday in SC. During this, a bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan made this comment.
The SC dismissed the petitioner’s petition and took automatically cognizance of the environment and ecological issues and considered it a PIL. The SC has asked the state government to give a detailed reply in 4 weeks. A letter has been written to the Chief Secretary of the state and the Union Forest Ministry. The next hearing will be held on August 25 in this case.

SC appreciated the notification with green area
The SC, while hearing the petition, described the issuance of notifications by the Himachal government to declare the green area. But the state has taken too long to issue such notifications and improve the situation. The situation in Himachal is continuously deteriorating.
Explain that the state government is notification of green area to the forests. More than 17 green areas have been notified in Shimla city and surrounding areas alone, as construction work in the green area is completely banned.

Advocate General appeared in court
Advocate General Anoop Ratna appeared in the court on behalf of Himachal during the hearing at SC. The state government admitted in the court that the construction of forelane in an unscientific manner, power projects, trees cutting and blocking roads and other projects on mountains are the main cause of destruction.
The court said, all the Himalayan states of the country need to collect resources and expertise to ensure that development plans are aware of these challenges.
