ED pastes warrant at the gate of the new bus station

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) team reached Samalkha on Tuesday in Panipat. The team had brought the arrest warrant of Vikas Chokkar, son of former Congress MLA Dharam Singh Chokkarkkar. In the absence of development, ED officials pasted the warrant at the gate of the new bus station.

In Gurugram ED court, a case is underway under the Money Laundering Prevention Act 2002 on the Chokkar family. It is alleged that he cheated more than 5 thousand people under the government’s affordable home scheme. Former MLA Dharam Singh Chokkar is under the arrest of ED in this case. His elder son Alexander is on bail. The younger son Vikas is absconding.

Case going on for 4 years The hearing of this case of about 500 crore rupees has been going on in Gurugram court since 16 November 2021. Vikas Chokkar has not appeared in court since then. On Tuesday, the ED team from Gurugram pasted the warrant issued by ED Judge Vani Gopal on August 6 at several places.

According to ED sources, Vikas Chokkar is hidden to avoid the series of warrant. The next hearing is to be held on 19 November 2025. During this time, development of development in court is necessary. The ED team’s car crashed in front of the new bus base while pasting the warrant.
