Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Semcon India-2025 in New Delhi today. The purpose of this event is to speed up the semiconductor eco system of India.
This 3 -day conference will be inaugurated by PM Modi at 10 am. They will also participate in the CEO’s roundate to be held on Wednesday 3 September.
The conference will be attended by 2,500 representatives from 48 countries, 150 speakers, including 50 global leaders, more than 350 contesters including more than 350 exhibits.
On the second day of the conference i.e. on September 3, PM Modi will also attend CEO’s round table summit. This round table will start at 9.30 am.
Modi went to see semiconductor plant in Japan
During Prime Minister Modi’s recent visit to Japan, India and Japan signed 21 important agreements, which have a major semector and cooperation in the AI region. During the tour, Modi visited Tokyo Electron’s Semiconductor Plant, and the two countries vowed to increase strategic participation on advance technology.
Japan is considered a global leader in semiconductor equipment and material. One aspect of the India-Japan Agreement is that the creation of older technologies of Japan should be transferred to India, so that dependence on China can be reduced and economic security increases.
