Japanese citizen takes one thousand rupees in the name of cutting helmet challan in Gurugram
DCP Traffic Dr. Rajesh Mohan suspended a Zone Officer (ZO), a policeman and a home guard on charges of taking a bribe of Rs 1000 from a Japanese tourist in Gurugram.

The case came to light when Japanese citizen Culto put a video on his Instagram late Monday evening. In the video, he told that the Gurugram police took a bribe of Rs 1000 without giving a receipt from him.

Cognizance taken when the video goes viral As soon as the video went viral, the matter reached senior police officers. After this, DCP Traffic Dr. Rajesh Mohan took immediate action and suspended the three. These include ZO ESI Karan Singh, Constable Shubham and Home Guard Bhupendra.

Three traffic workers suspended DCP Traffic Dr. Rajesh Mohan said that the policy of police against bribery is zero tolerance. Therefore, the three traffic workers have been suspended while taking immediate action in this matter.
He informed that the entire incident is being investigated thoroughly and strict action will be taken against the culprits. At the same time, he appealed to the public to give immediate information if such a wrong act is seen anywhere, so that such incidents do not happen further.
