On an average, 357.3 mm of rain should have been received by 2 September, but 498.4 mm of rain has been recorded in the state. The highest rainfall has been recorded in Yamunanagar 992.2 mm this season and 769.1 mm in Mahendragarh, while the lowest rainfall was 227.4 in Sirsa and 328.7 mm in Bhiwani.

Whereas, there is a possibility of rain in most areas of Charkhi Dadri, Jhajjar, Mahendragarh, Rewari, Gurugram, Faridabad, Mewat and Palwal.
- 5 September: There is a yellow alert in Mahendragarh, Rewari, Jhajjar, Gurugram, Faridabad. Most areas of these districts are expected to rain, while light to moderate rains have been expected in some places in the rest of the districts.
