A similar lie was spread by the party about the Manimahesh Yatra. This created an atmosphere of fear among the people. He said that action will be taken against YouTubers, channels and people who spread rumors.

Initially taxi drivers charge over: Minister

The Revenue Minister admitted that there was a decrease in administrative arrangements in Chamba initially. Several taxi drivers charged over the trapped people. But as soon as they reached there, there was a system of road restoration, taxi service and free transport.

He said, the food of the people trapped in Manimahesh was anchored. Langar committees and local panchayats provided food and housing facilities of Manimahesh devotees. He said, internet service was interrupted by bad weather and communication lines being damaged.

More than 15 thousand devotees stranded

Please tell that there was heavy loss due to rain between 24 and 27 August in Chamba district. Due to this, more than 15 thousand devotees were trapped in Bharmour. Meanwhile, Revenue Minister Jagat Negi left the monsoon session of the assembly and reached Chamba. He went to Bharmour on foot from Chamba. He monitored relief and rescue operations by staying on ground zero for 8 days. He reached the secretariat today after taking out all Manimahesh devotees from Bharmour.

During this, he said, all Manimahesh travelers have reached their destination safely. He said, Army’s M-17 helicopters on Thursday brought 400 people to Chamba in four flights. More than 500 devotees were evacuated by air on Wednesday.
