Initially taxi drivers charge over: Minister
The Revenue Minister admitted that there was a decrease in administrative arrangements in Chamba initially. Several taxi drivers charged over the trapped people. But as soon as they reached there, there was a system of road restoration, taxi service and free transport.
He said, the food of the people trapped in Manimahesh was anchored. Langar committees and local panchayats provided food and housing facilities of Manimahesh devotees. He said, internet service was interrupted by bad weather and communication lines being damaged.
More than 15 thousand devotees stranded
Please tell that there was heavy loss due to rain between 24 and 27 August in Chamba district. Due to this, more than 15 thousand devotees were trapped in Bharmour.
