He said that the rules of the plains should not apply to the hill state. 75 thousand rupees are available to build one kilometer road in the plains, while in Himachal, 10 meters of road is also not constructed in 75 thousand. These rules will also be demanded to change.

CM said- Finance Commission is going to meet chairman for third time
CM said, he is going to Delhi tomorrow after a meeting with the Prime Minister. In Delhi, the 16th Finance Commission Chairman Dr. A Ravind will meet Panagariya and advocate Himachal’s entitlements. He is going to meet Dr. Panagariya for the third time, so that Himachal can get full rights under the Finance Commission.
The next Finance Commission recommendations will be implemented from April 2026
The recommendations of the 16th Finance Commission will apply from 1 April 2026. Under these recommendations, revenue will be distributed to the state for the next five years. If the Himachal government gets more revenue deficit grants (RDG), then after 2026, the next five years can be done comfortably. If it is cut, the economic health of the state government will be rapidly deteriorated.
