More than 70 cases of check bounce against MLA Surendra Patwa are pending in court. Most of the case has gone to the High Court. Some have also got relief in some, which has also been challenged in the Supreme Court.

Order to attach property 7 years ago 7 years ago, the court of the then Indore Collector Lokesh Kumar Jatav ordered his property to attach his property against Surendra Patwa. This order was issued for not repaying a bank loan of Rs 33.45 crore. The court had said that the mortgaged property should be handed over to the bank immediately. The bank will attach it to the loan.
The court gave Messrs Patwa Automative Pvt. Lasudia Mori Dewas Naka and Bacharder Messrs Star City Construction, Surendra Patwa, Monica Patwa, Bharat Patwa, Mahendra Patwa and Phoolkunwar Bai Patwa had issued an order to immediately get the respective assets to the respective property bank.
