His father Chandrashekhar and mother met Tamil Selvi at his house. Jathedar encouraged the victim’s family and said that the Sikh community stands with them for justice. The deceased Kavin was the nephew of Tamil Sikh and Supreme Court lawyer Jeevan Singh, who lives in Tamil Nadu. At his invitation, Jathedar Gargaj went to meet the victim’s family.
During this, Jathedar expressed deep concern and said that even today incidents like honor killing are happening in the society due to casteism, apartheid and caste -based discrimination. He said that in the teachings of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji, the whole humanity is considered the prisoner of the same God.
To get justice, one has to fight a legal battle with courage-the scientist Giani Kuldeep Singh Gargaj prayed in front of the Akal Purakh that the victim’s family got the power and efforts to get justice and they should be in the art. He also prayed that high-low, caste and other discrimination should be eliminated from the society and the promotion of all-social teachings of Guru Sahiban.
Jathedar told Kavin’s father Chandrashekhar that he would have to fight a legal battle with courage to get his son’s justice so that caste -based discrimination can be stopped and this does not happen to anyone else. He said that this struggle is old, and although Sikh Guru Sahiban tried to end caste -based discrimination long ago, the problem is not completely over.
He prayed to Akal Purakh that caste discrimination should end in other areas including Tamil Nadu and this family should get justice. He said that obtaining justice is the basic right of this family.
