The Meteorological Department has issued an alert of rain for three days from yesterday.
380 people have died between this monsoon season (June 1 to September 10) in the state. Of these, 76 people have lost their lives, cloudburst and landslide, while 40 people are missing. According to the administration, now there is little chance of the missing people being alive.
45 places clouded
This time 137 incidents of large landslide, 97 flash floods and 45 cloudburst incidents have caused a lot of loss to both life and goods. Due to this, government and private property worth Rs 4306 crore has been destroyed in the monsoon season.
582 roads closed including 4 NH
Due to the rains of the past, 582 roads including four national highways have been closed in the state. Most of these roads have been blocked for the last 15 days. This season has received 43 percent more rainfall than normal. Kullu has a cloud of 113 percent from normal and 107 percent more than normal in Shimla. This heavy rains are the cause of destruction.
