PM Modi and Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reached Kolkata on Sunday evening.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the 16th Joint Commanders Conference (CCC) at around 9:30 am on Monday. PM Modi reached Kolkata on Sunday evening. This is his second visit to Bengal in the last one month.
The conference will be held from 15 to 17 September in the Army’s Eastern Command Headquarters Fort William Kolkata. This year’s theme- ‘Year of Reforms- Transformation for Future’.
The Joint Commanders Conference is the biggest discussion of the army. In this, army officers and ministers of the government discuss the security and strategy of the country.
Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, NSA Ajit Doval, CDS General Anil Chauhan and senior officials of the ministries will attend the conference. Heads of the three armies will also participate in it.

The Joint Commanders Conference (CCC) is the largest strategic platform of the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. In this, the top officers of the three armies of the country and the big ministers of the central government together discuss national security, defense policies and future strategies.
The purpose of the conference is to consider the challenges related to defense, modernization, new technology and future warfare by bringing the ministers of the army and government together. This conference plays an important role in making the country’s security policy.
August 22: Modi inaugurated projects worth Rs 5200 crore in Bengal

Prime Minister Modi flagged off Noapada-Jai Hind Awn Bandar Metro, Sealdah-Easpland Metro and Belleghata-Hemant Mukhopadhyay Metro from Jesore Road Metro Station.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi was on a tour of Kolkata on 22 August. The PM inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of Rs 5200 crore projects here. Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the total three new routes of 13.62 km long.
Apart from this, the PM laid the foundation stone of the 6 -lane corner expressway to be built at a cost of more than Rs 1200 crore. This expressway will be 7.2 km long. State Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has not attended the program. Read full news …
