Pawan Kheda claimed that, ‘1,050 acres of land’ Rashtra Seth ‘Gautam Adani was given one rupee for 33 years for 33 years to set up a power plant in Pirpainti, Bhagalpur in Bihar. When Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to Bihar today, the villagers there were put under house arrest, so that he could not picket.
Pawan Kheda said, ‘The farmers are being forced and threatened by their land. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Bihar today to lay the foundation stone of this plant and some farmers were placed under house arrest during this visit, so that they could not protest.

Pawan Kheda further said that this land and mango, litchi, teak trees have been handed over to the Adani group for 33 years at the rate of only 1 rupee per year. The deal is for a 2,400 MW power plant in Pirpainti, Bhagalpur, which is an estimated cost of Rs 21,400 crore.
He said, ‘This is a story of mango mango, kernels. Land, trees, coal, everything was given to Gautam Adani. The power plant built from Bihar’s land and resources will sell electricity to the people of Bihar at the rate of Rs 6.075 per unit.
Whereas in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh, this fix rate is 3 to 5 rupees. Describing it as a double loot with the people of Bihar, he said that Narendra Modi is robbing Bihar for his friend in a similar way and by doing all this, the state was made a sick state.
Big projects of Bihar give Adani to Adani at the time of elections
Kheda further said that the government is snatching land from Bihar, taking coal, cutting trees and selling electricity to the same people for Rs 6.075.
After all, where is this justice? The Congress leader said that whenever elections come close and the BJP is afraid of defeat, Gautam Adani is given big projects. He referred to the projects received by Adani in Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Chhattisgarh.
At the same time, on the announcement of 125 units of Bihar government free electricity, Kheda taunted that this free electricity will be given with the money of taxpayer. Adani will get only Rs 6.075 per unit. It is like withdrawing money from the public’s pocket and giving it to Adani. The Congress leader termed the deal as a fierce Kali Yuga and demanded the cancellation of it. He said that if the Congress government was formed in Bihar, then such projects will not be tolerated at all.
