Delhi Police arrested Sameer Modi, brother of former Indian Premier League (IPL) Chairman Lalit Modi and businessman from Delhi Airport on Thursday evening. Sameer Modi has been accused of rape, blackmailing and cheating a woman since 2019.
The look-out circular (LOC) was issued against the businessman in this case. He was taken into custody from the airport after returning to Europe’s business trip to India. Sameer was produced in a Delhi court, from where he was sent to a day police custody.
