Police has revealed the case of murder of a 4 -month -old girl on Friday (September 19) in village Berkhedi of Seoni Malwa tehsil of Narmadapuram district. The girl was murdered by her grandmother Meenabai Ashware. The police have arrested the accused grandmother.

According to the police, grandmother Meenabai was not happy about this girl, born on 27 May, because she wanted a grandson. On the day of the incident, the girl was sleeping on a swing in Kritika courtyard. Mother Meera was washing utensils behind the house. Meanwhile, after getting the opportunity, Meenabai put a splash in the girl’s mouth, which stopped her breath.
After the girl died, Meenabai tied the body in the bundle and threw it into the dry well and started cleaning her enclosure to escape.

Later, when the police opened the bundle, the body of the girl was found in it.
