Seniors had asked first year students to create fake email ID and Twitter account, retweet the messages of seniors on social media and make special hashtag viral. He also threatened to batch out on protest.
According to the report, at the behest of senior student Aman Patel, first year student Vivek Sharma deleted WhatsApp messages from other students’ phones. Instructions were also shared for the movement in WhatsApp group named “Senior Introduction”, made by another first year student Umang Agarwal.
Meeting held at Sivasagar restaurant Investigation revealed that IET students had gathered at Sivasagar restaurant. It was here that the seniors pressurized the students of the first year under the guise of hostel rules. Aman Patel along with Adarsh Makwana, Aditya Sharma, Sunil Ahirwar, Naman Pandey, Yashshvi Mishra and Dhawal Chaudhary were present in this meeting.
According to the report, Aman Patel also talked about breaking the hostel’s CCTV camera. His younger brother Anuj Patel is a first year student. He was illegally living in hostels and was working as an agent for Aman.

DAVV’s Anti Ragging Committee has recommended this in its report.
Committee recommendation- FIR The Anti Ragging Committee of the university in its report recommended the DAVV management that an FIR should be lodged against the accused students under BNS sections. This includes allegations such as ragging, threatening, making fake IDs, creating anti -university environment and eradicating digital evidence.
The committee has demanded a case against Aman Patel father Ashok Patel, Adarsh Makwana father Radheshyam Makwana, Aditya Sharma father Rajiv Sharma, Anuj Patel father Ashok Patel and Umang Aggarwal father Dinesh Aggarwal?
The committee has conducted an inquiry from the cyber cell and recommended to identify other students involved in the meeting of Sivasagar restaurant and take strict action against them.

The Anti Ragging Committee has demanded action on these students.
Vice Chancellor said- complained to police Vice Chancellor Rakesh Singhai said that a complaint has been made to the police based on the report of the Anti Ragging Committee. The nominee has not been reported yet. Police will take further action after investigation. The Anti Ragging Committee has written about the agitation in Nepal, a detailed investigation will be done in this regard.
The Vice Chancellor said that in the case of ragging on the previous day, some senior students were evacuated from the hostel. Some were out of the semester while others imposed financial penalty. The student has done this plan to avenge him.
These people threatened junior students in the restaurant. After this, some junior or senior students stole DVR and broke CCTV. What is their purpose will be investigated.
Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) Sarthak Jain, social media convenor of Malwa province, said that Aman Patel has been a co -minister in the DAVV executive. Currently not in any post.
These 2 cases of ragging were reported from IET
First case: pressure to make post viral On 19 August 2025, a student of First Year, who lives in IET hostel, complained to the UGC’s anti -ragging helpline. It said- Seniors of the second year threatened and harassed him. The fellow students were asked to wishes by bowing their heads every time they meet. Cigarette smoking was also taught.
He was also pressured to make some posts viral on social media by creating fake e-mail and Twitter account. Following this complaint, the university investigated and fired 6 senior students from the hostel. This case is now going on in the Proctorial Board.
Second case: assault for wishing good morning On 29 August 2025, a BTech Third Year student was beaten up in IET. The student said that he had gone to drink tea in the canteen in the evening. There he accidentally wished the senior of Fourth Year to be a good morning. Seniors got angry on this matter.
Senior, along with his 3-4 colleagues, beat up the student. The student first complained to the institute, but no action was taken, so the police has complained by applying to the police.
