In Muzaffarnagar, 6, including 5 people of one family, died in a road accident. The high speed Ertiga car entered the truck parked along the highway. There were 7 people in the car, in which 6 died on the spot. These include three women and three men. One is in critical condition.
Actually, Mahendra Juneja, a resident of Haryana, died of cancer. All were going from Karnal to Haridwar to immerse their ashes in the Ganges. Mahendra’s wife, son, two sisters, a brother -in -law and driver died in the accident.
The accident took place in Titavi area on the Panipat-Khatima highway at 5.30 am on Wednesday. The accident was so severe that the 14 -foot Ertiga remained 8 feet. Most died on the spot.
Police has sent an injured to the hospital. His condition is critical. The remaining bodies were sent for postmortem. All the deceased were residents of Faridpur in Karnal. The police has informed the family.
