The Assam Police has registered a case of murder against his manager Siddharth Sharma and Shiyakanu Mahnta, organizer of North East India Festival, in the case of singer and composer Zubeen Garg’s death in Singapore. Both were arrested from Delhi on Wednesday and brought to Guwahati and produced in court.
The court has sent him to a 14 -day police custody. Munna Prasad Gupta, Special DGP of CID of Assam Police, said that both the accused are being questioned. Now a case of murder has been registered. According to a new Singapore Police report, Zubeen Garg died on September 19 due to drowning while swimming near St. John’s Island in Singapore. Earlier there were reports that they were diving scuba.
