A case has been registered against the driver of the actor -turned -actor Vijay in a stampede case in Karur, Tamil Nadu on September 27. 41 people died in this accident. Police said Vijay’s promotional vehicle has also been included in the FIR. The case is related to the incident in which Vijay’s fans were riding on a bike near his publicity bus and the accident took place during this period.

The video of the incident was shown on many TV channels and also went viral on social media. On Sunday, sources in Karur’s SP office and Velayathamapalayam Police Station confirmed that cases have been registered in connection with the accidents shown in the video.

The High Court had also questioned why no action was taken against the driver of the bus. The court said that it is seen in the video that the bus was involved in the accident and the driver ran away from the spot.
