Read what SP leaders said…

  • SP leader Pooja Shukla, who was a candidate from Lucknow North, wrote on X- Facebook has crossed its limits. He suspended the official page of Akhilesh Yadav without any warning or notice. Socialists, it’s time for Facebook to wake up! Such arrogance will not be tolerated.
  • SP spokesperson Manoj Kaka had written – Deactivating Akhilesh Yadav’s Facebook page shows that Meta, Meta India’s commitment towards free expression has now become a slave in the hands of the governments. There is an appeal from Meta that Akhilesh Yadav’s page should be activated as soon as possible.
  • SP spokesperson Fakhrul Hasan Chand had said, who will listen to the voice of the opposition while BJP is there. It is not a trivial matter for the verified account of the leader of the country’s third largest party to be suspended. This is an attack on democracy.

SP had asked questions to Facebook by writing a post

  • On what basis did he do this?
  • Is this a policy matter?
  • Is it not undemocratic to do this without any reason?
  • Is it not a matter of human rights to close the accounts of those who raise their voice for the general public?
  • Or is there any political reason behind this?

Why are accounts blocked or suspended on Facebook?

  • Don’t make the mistake of threatening someone by messaging, commenting or calling on Facebook. Also, do not write any inflammatory or wrong post. If you do this and a complaint is made, your account may even be blocked.
  • Do not share any post on Facebook that creates hatred and can lead to riots. Therefore, keep in mind that one should avoid sharing inflammatory posts, objectionable photos and videos. Otherwise your Facebook account can be blocked and action can also be taken against you by the police.
  • On Facebook you can share things like your photos, videos and thoughts. People are also buying and selling their goods here, but you should avoid using prohibited things here, like weapons, ammunition, banned medicines, ganja and intoxicating substances etc. If you do this, action may be taken against you and your account may be blocked.
  • Harassment of women always comes under the category of crime. You have to keep this in mind on Facebook also. Do not make indecent comments to any woman even by mistake, do not write wrong things on any of her posts etc. Even if you do this, your Facebook account may be blocked.
