The body of 2 year old younger daughter Umayya was also lying on the cot.

As soon as the news of three murders taking place simultaneously was received, the family members reached the spot. His condition became worse due to crying.

Maulana teaches namaz in the mosque Maulana Ibrahim, who lives in Sunna village of Muzaffarnagar, teaches namaz in the mosque of Gangnoli village. He lives in a room on the upper floor of the mosque with his wife Israna, daughters Sophia and Sumayya.

People who came to offer namaz saw blood outside the room Some people of the village reached the mosque to offer namaz at around 11.30 am on Saturday morning. They called out to Maulana to offer Namaz. But, when they did not get any response, they went to the upstairs room to see him. Then his eyes fell on the blood flowing outside the room.

When the villagers opened the door, Maulana’s wife and two children were lying inside soaked in blood. His breathing had stopped. When people raised an alarm, a large number of people reached the spot. At present the police have started interrogating the people nearby. The forensic team is collecting evidence.

All three were hit on the head with a heavy weapon. Blood was coming out from the head and face. There was blood spread all over the room. Looking at the three dead bodies, it is clear that they were murdered by brutally beating them.

After the massacre, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. People stopped the body from being taken for postmortem.

Maulana Ibrahim was not present at home at the time of the incident. Taking advantage of his absence, this heinous murder was carried out. As soon as information about the incident was received, police was informed by dialing 112. The police team immediately reached the spot.

The crowd stopped the body from being taken away, there was a scuffle with the police.

Meerut Zone DIG Kalanidhi Naithani also reached the spot. In front of the DIG, the police tried to take possession of all three bodies and send them for postmortem, but the family members protested. The family members started demanding immediate disclosure of the matter and arrest of the accused. During this time the women also had a scuffle with the police. People agreed after the DIG explained, after which the bodies were sent for postmortem.

There was also a scuffle between the women and the police.

Police investigation revealed that all the CCTV cameras installed outside the mosque and the room were switched off at the time of the incident. Police suspect that someone close to them may have committed the crime.

DIG said – suspicion deepened on close ones

DIG Meerut Zone Kalanidhi Naithani, who reached the spot, said – Dog squad has been called and investigation is being done. The team has been formed under the leadership of SP Suraj Rai. In the initial investigation, there is suspicion of involvement of someone close or an acquaintance in this murder. All the resources of the police have been devoted to the workout of the murder.

All three dead bodies were lying on the same cot.

There is an atmosphere of tension and fear in Gangnoli village and surrounding areas due to the news of triple murder in the mosque premises. Heavy police force has been deployed near the village and the mosque to deal with any untoward situation.
