As the rainy season has stopped in Uttarakhand, a drop in temperature has also been recorded. Today i.e. on October 12, the weather will remain dry in all the 13 districts of the state. However, it will be cold in the morning and evening. There will be bright sunshine in the plains.

According to the Meteorological Department, there will be partly cloudy sky in the hilly areas. The temperature will be normal due to sunshine in the plains. However, cold is being felt as the minimum temperature is below normal. The cold winds of Uttarakhand will increase the cold in the morning and evening across the country.
At present there is no possibility of rain and snowfall in the state. The weather is expected to remain clear across the state till October 15. At the same time, the weather is dry in Dehradun today, but the weather will be a little hot during the day, due to which there may be slight humidity. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 31 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be around 19 degrees Celsius.

It is extremely cold due to snowfall on the mountains of Kedarnath and Badrinath Dham. The mountains appear to be covered with snow. While on one hand the faces of travelers and tourists are happy due to snowfall, on the other hand the problems of the local people have increased.
Due to heavy snowfall in the high altitude areas of districts like Chamoli, Pithoragarh and Bageshwar, the hills are laden with snow.

According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, at present there is no possibility of any major weather activity in the state for the next few days. The weather will remain clear in most areas, although the possibility of light drizzle at some higher altitudes cannot be ruled out. The weather will remain clear across the state till October 15.
State weather experts say that now the temperature may gradually drop further, due to which the effect of winter will increase further by the end of October. This means that now the cold weather has slowly started returning in Uttarakhand.
