Nuh is considered the ‘New Jamtara’ of Haryana in the case of cyber fraud. Now the question will arise in your mind that then how and why is this oath being administered? Nuh district SP Rajesh Kumar says- We are running this campaign as an experiment. In this, former cyber criminals are teaching the lesson of goodness. These people will definitely be punished legally, but efforts are being made to ensure that they do not indulge in crime again. They are first being counseled, then they are being given an oath that they will not be involved in such crimes again. According to SP, those who cooperate with the police will be helped in getting jobs or business as per their skills.
So far 300 cyber criminals have been sworn in Nuh police spokesperson Krishna Kumar said that so far, oath has been administered to about 300 cyber criminals who have come out of jail on bail. They are being called to the cyber police station and are being administered oath by visiting their villages. They are being made cyber warriors, so that they can help in arresting other cyber criminals.

226 cases of cyber fraud registered in just 9 months Police spokesperson said that from January to September this year, 226 cases of cyber fraud have been registered. 285 accused have been arrested. About one thousand SIM cards with fake IDs, more than 300 mobile phones and more than 137 ATM cards have been recovered. In the year 2022, more than 450 cyber fraud cases were registered in Nuh. Blocked 20,545 mobile numbers in the year 2023. Also, 102 teams of 5000 police personnel raided Nuh. Among the SIM cards blocked on fake IDs, about 13 thousand were on the IDs of Andhra Pradesh. Apart from this, they were on the IDs of West Bengal, Assam and Delhi.
The situation in Nuh is like this… 40 villages are hotspots, more than 5 lakh SIM cards blocked. According to a media report, there are 40 villages in Nuh district which are hotspots of cyber fraud. More than 400 cyber criminals were identified in these 40 villages. In these villages near the Aravalli forest alone, more than 10 thousand mobile numbers came under suspicion. After the report of the Department of Telecom (DOT) and CID, a large-scale crackdown was carried out in these villages. In the last 4 years alone, on an average, cyber frauds worth more than Rs 300 crore were committed from here every year. More than 5 lakh mobile SIM cords were blocked in the district. These SIM cards were issued on fake IDs.
