Do not spread knowledge about firecrackers on Diwali. We neither give knowledge on Bakrid nor on Tajiya. So don’t feed us knowledge. This is our tradition, and we will follow it.
Actually, on Saturday, Dhirendra Shastri reached Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Temple in Mumbai. While talking to the media here, someone asked him a question about the pollution caused by firecrackers on Diwali and the appeal by Bollywood actors not to burst firecrackers. Regarding this, Dhirendra Shastri talked about not giving knowledge.

‘The issue is raised only on Hindu festivals’ Dhirendra Shastri said that pollution is a serious topic, but why is this issue raised only during Hindu festivals. There is an appeal to the actors to look at the festivals of all religions equally and not to impart knowledge. The purpose of festivals should be to increase happiness, peace and mutual brotherhood. Irrespective of religion, everyone should respect each other’s feelings.
‘I love Muhammad is not wrong….’ Regarding I Love Muhammad, Dhirendra Shastri said, if someone says ‘I love Muhammad’ then he is not wrong. Similarly, if someone says ‘I love Mahadev’ then that is also not bad. Everyone has the right to love their religion and it should be respected, but slogans and ideas like separation of head and body will not be tolerated by either the Hindu society or the law of India. If someone teases, he will not be spared.
