A video of a young man getting his feet washed has surfaced in Damoh.
In Damoh, a youth was punished for washing the feet of another youth and drinking water instead of posting a meme on social media. A video of this was also made. The video went viral. After this the police has registered an FIR against 6 people.

Actually, liquor prohibition is in force in Satriya village of Damoh. A few days ago, a young man named Anuj alias Annu Pandey was found selling and drinking liquor. After this, a young man from the village posted a video of Annu on social media, in which AI technique showed him wearing a garland of shoes.
As soon as this video went viral, some people of the village became angry. Seeing the controversy increasing, the young man deleted the post. Even apologized publicly, but things did not work out. On Friday, angry people called the Panchayat and asked questions and answers to the youth who made the video. Then he was sentenced to wash Annu’s feet and drink water. According to eyewitnesses, the young man washed Annu’s feet in a public gathering and then drank the same water.

The one who washed the feet said – Our Guru-disciple relationship The video of washing feet also went viral on social media. As soon as the matter gained momentum, Annu Pandey released a video on Saturday. It said- The people of OBC community are making the video that came out yesterday a political issue. Nothing like that. We have a Guru-disciple relationship, that is why he washed our feet with his own will.
Annu further said in the video – If the Kushwaha community is facing problems in getting our feet washed, then I apologize.
Video of the victim youth – He is our family guru On Saturday itself, the victim youth also released a video on social media. It said- Some people are making it a social issue. I had made a mistake and have apologized for it. The one whose feet I washed is our family guru, so I did so.
The youth has appealed not to make it a political issue. Collector, SP, police station in-charge have also been asked to remove the video and not to take action against anyone.
ASP said – restrictive action will be taken against those who join further Damoh’s Additional SP Sujit Singh reached Satriya village for investigation on Sunday. He told that the controversy started with an AI generated video, in which the young man was shown wearing a garland of shoes. In the case, an FIR has been lodged against four named people including Anuj Pandey, the person who washed the feet, other persons and the person who made the video viral. At present, all the accused are absconding.
Sanctional action will be taken against others found involved in the case.
Meanwhile, Hata SDM Rakesh Markam said that police and revenue department officials are on the spot to maintain peace in the village. He is trying to go among the people and remove the evils.
Congress demanded strict action Congress wrote on social media – The incident is shameful to humanity. It is against the constitution of the country. Such incidents happening with Dalits and backward classes are a stigma on the entire country and society. The BJP government should take strictest action against the criminals related to this incident, so that a clear message is sent that such incidents have no place in the society.
