The Delhi Police has arrested the deceased’s wife Sonia and Rohit, while the killer Vijay is already in jail.
Pritam Prakash (42), who lives in Alipur area of Delhi, was murdered on 5 July. In the case on Monday, the police revealed that Pritam was murdered by his wife Sonia (34) in association with the lover.

The report of Pritam’s disappearance was lodged at Alipur police station. Police recovered Pritam’s body from a drain in Sonepat, Haryana. The police then investigated the case and reached the accused of murder.
Police said that Pritam had a criminal background and used to beat Sonia daily. Because of this Sonia wanted to separate from him. He had a plan to start a new life with his lover Rohit.
Sonia, along with the lover, conspired to kill the husband and killed Vijay involved in several crimes already and killed him. The police have arrested Sonia and Rohit in the case, while Vijay is already in jail.

Sonia had an affair for the last 2 years
Sonia was married to Pritam at the age of 16. they have three children. Pritam was addicted to intoxication and was involved in many cases like robbery, weapon and kidnapping. Despite explaining several times, he was not improving.
Sonia befriended cab driver Rohit on social media in 2023, who himself had also been involved in criminal cases. The relationship between the two increased and decided to marry, but husband Pritam was not agreeing for it.
Murdered by giving betel nut of 50 thousand After a quarrel on July 2, Sonia went to her sister’s house in Sonepat, Haryana. On the way, he asked Rohit to kill Pritam. Rohit said that he cannot do this, but can prepare someone to kill on betel nut for 6 lakh rupees. Sonia did not have enough money and the plan remained incomplete.
On July 5, Pritam came to Sonepat to bring back Sonia. There was a debate there too. Meanwhile, Sonia contacted the sister’s brother -in -law Vijay, who obeyed the murder in 1 lakh, but the deal was fixed in 50 thousand.
The same night Pritam was killed by Vijay and wrapped the body in a cloth and threw it into a drain. Sonia lodged the report of her husband’s disappearance at Alipur police station and gave her phone to Rohit, so that the evidence would be over.
How did the matter come up When the police started searching for Pritam, his mobile phone was found active in Sonepat. Rohit was caught in the inquiry and the entire murder plan was exposed. Sonia was also caught after Rohit’s arrest. He told that Vijay had also sent a picture of the dead body after the murder. After the murder, Sonia earned Rs 2.80 lakh by selling Pritam’s car, out of which some money was given to Rohit.
