India has successfully launched a medium-range fire-prime missile from the rail-based mobile launcher system. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh gave this information. The Agni Prime missile is designed for a 2000 km of firepower. It is equipped with many advanced features.
Rajnath wrote- Specially designed rail based mobile launcher, the first launching system of its kind has the ability to run on every type of rail network.
This test has included India in the group of select countries that have a canisterized launching system from the rail network.

What is a canisterized launch system
It is a modern technology to launch missiles. In this, the missile is placed in a strong canister (large metal container). It protects the canister missile and is easily ready to move around and launch.
The missile can be fired directly without long preparation from the canister. The missile is safe in moisture, dust, weather and other adverse conditions. The missile can be taken anywhere by placing a canister on a truck, rail or mobile launcher.
The enemy is difficult to identify which cannister missiles are carried and who is not. The missile does not require maintenance repeatedly due to the pack in the canister.
