CM himself chooses bungalow in Delhi, no official residence

There is no official CM house in Delhi. Before Kejriwal, he also had CM, he has lived in different bungalows. In 1993, Madanlal Khurana was allotted 33 Shamnath Marg, followed by 9 Shamnath Marg to Sahib Singh Verma and Sheela Dixit first AB-17 Mathura Road and 3 Motilal Nehru Marg bungalow in the second term.

In Delhi, the Chief Minister chooses a bungalow according to his convenience. After stepping out of the post of CM, they have to live with their ancestral, private or rental house. No separate housing allowance is also given for this. Housing allowance is included in the total amount to be given every month.

Kejriwal lived in Ghaziabad before becoming CM

After resigning from the post of CM, Kejriwal is now the President of Aam Aadmi Party and MLA from New Delhi. Like other states in the Delhi Assembly, MLAs are not given bungalows to live. Nor is there a rule to give bungalow as former CM.

Kejriwal lived in Kaushambi area of Ghaziabad before becoming the Chief Minister of Delhi for the first time in December 2013. As Chief Minister, he stayed in the house at Tilak Lane in Central Delhi. When the Aam Aadmi Party got a majority in February 2015, he went to live in a residence of 6, Flag Staff Road in Civil Lines area of North Delhi.
