A delegation of seven members of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind arrived in Golpada, Assam, after the eviction campaign being run by the Himanta government. Chairman Arshad Madani said on Tuesday that eviction campaign should be done as per the Supreme Court’s fixed rules.

Madani said- Assam government should work within the system for eviction, not it hatched. However, Assam CM denied Maulana Madani’s remarks and warned of legal action if needed.

Sarma said- Who is Madni, what is God. The Congress is the bravery of Madani only then. There is no evidence of Madani’s bravery in BJP’s time. If he does more, I will send Madni to jail. I am the Chief Minister, not Madani.

The delegation went to the places in Golapada on Monday, from where the illegal residents were removed.

Arshad Madani said- The system is violating, it is condemnable

Madni told the media, “A eviction campaign is being carried out in the state. I went to many areas yesterday. I feel sad to see what is being done here. I feel very sad, especially because the community and the country are formed under one system. If anything is done by violating the system, it is ignored and crushed, it is unfortunate and painful as it is.”

Sarma had said- every Muslim goes to Bangladesh

Earlier, CM Sarma had said that if the Jamiat leaders come to the state and do something, they will be arrested and sent to Bangladesh. To this, Madni said, “I am in his kingdom since tomorrow. They are saying that every Muslim should be sent to Bangladesh. So those who are spreading hatred in this country should go to Pakistan.”

He said without naming someone- “Different Chintu should go to Pakistan. Why should they live in this beautiful country, where there is harmony and ancient civilization? We did not become the oldest and greatest civilization by using such words.”
