Harry Chattha gang opened fire in Batala on Friday night. In Batala, at around 8 pm on Friday night, two bike riders of Chattha gang associated with Jaggu Bhagwanpuria opened indiscriminate fire. In this, Chanda Boot House shop owner Advocate Chandra Chanda son of Tarlochan Chand, shop security guard Sarabjit Singh resident of Bullewal, shop owner’s friend Kanav Mahajan, resident of Andhian Chowk and Amrit Pal, resident of Umpura, Amanjot, resident of Umpura standing near the showroom, Sanjeev Seth, resident of Khajuri Gate and Jugal Kishore resident of Puriya Mohalla were injured by bullets. Sarabjit Kaka (35) and Kanav Mahajan were killed in the firing.

Sanjeev Seth, who was injured in the firing, told that he was standing outside Chanda Boot House. Some people who came from behind started firing bullets. He got injured due to the bullet. Amritpal told that he was also standing in Jassa Singh Chowk. He got shot during the sudden firing.

Jaggu had got someone close to Bambiha gang murdered On the evening of 26 May 2025, a sensational firing took place outside the petrol pump located on Ghuman village and Shri Hargobindpur Road in Batala. In which Gurpreet Singh Gora alias Gora Bariyar was killed and Billa Mandiala was injured. Jaggu Bhagwanpuriya gang had taken responsibility for this case.
After some time, the counter intelligence team of Punjab Police arrested an accused involved in this incident from Patiala. Who was associated with Jaggu Bhagwanpuriya gang. Gopi was very close to Ghanshyampuria gang.
Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s mother got murdered On the night of June 28, two assailants riding a bike opened fire on Jaggu Bhagwanpuriya’s close aide Karanveer Singh (29) and his mother Harjeet Kaur (52) in the Urban Estate area of Batala. The incident occurred around 9:07 pm; Karanveer died on the spot. While Harjeet was taken to the hospital where the doctor also declared him dead.
Police linked the incident to mutual gang war and started investigation. Donny Bal, Prabhu Dasuwal and Kaushal Chaudhary, three men associated with the Ghanshyampuria gang and the Bambiha gang, posted on social media claiming responsibility for the attack and claiming it was revenge for the murder of their colleague Gore.
Jaggu Bhagwanpuria’s partner was murdered in broad daylight. On July 5, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang member Jugraj Singh alias Tota was shot dead by unknown assailants in the afternoon in Channan village of Amritsar. Jugraj was the brother of notorious gangster and Jagroop Singh Roopa, who was involved in the Sidhu Moosewala murder case.
The attackers fired indiscriminately at Jugraj, due to which he died on the spot. Immediately after the incident, Gopi Ghanshyampuria gang took responsibility for the attack on social media. It is being told that Ghanshyampuria gang is currently active in collaboration with Bambiha gang and is continuously targeting people associated with Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang.
