The soldier of Bhagalpur was killed in Jammu and Kashmir. Ankit Yadav (35) was martyred during an encounter with terrorists in a post in Uri sector of Baramulla district.

On Tuesday night, there was a sudden firing from the terrorists. The army also retaliated, during which Ankit was shot at the terrorists, in which they were seriously injured.
In the injured condition, first AIP-06 and then Devi Post were brought. RMO (Regimental Medical Officer) of the battalion treated him for two and a half hours. During treatment, he died at 6:15 am on Wednesday.
Army officials reported his martyrdom to elder brother Niranjan Yadav at 10 am on Wednesday.
The martyr was a resident of Chapar village of Rangra block. His body will reach the village today. The house consists of old mother Savita Devi and father Lakshmi Yadav.
The young man’s friend said, Ankit Yadav’s parents are old. He will not be able to bear the shock of the son’s departure, so he and Ankit’s wife have not been given the news of martyrdom.

The middle brother Mithilesh Yadav is SI in RPF and posted in Bakhtiyarpur, Patna. The third brother Mukesh Yadav is retired from the Army.

Funeral will be held amidst floods
According to the villagers, Ankit was not only a brave soldier but also a simple and sociable person. His martyrdom is not only the village but the entire Navagachia subdivision and Bhagalpur district.
Currently the entire area is in the grip of flood. On one hand, people are preparing for the final farewell of their brave son, on the other hand they are busy dealing with floods.
The administration is preparing for the funeral with full military honors. The villagers are waiting for the body of the heroic soldiers, so that they can have a last darshan.
