This service will reduce the problem of bus tickets and high fare problems to a great extent. The Bihar government is running an inter-state bus transport service in PPP (Public-Private Partnership) mode so that passengers can get better bus service during festivals.

Government will give subsidy up to Rs 300 The Bihar government has planned to encourage private operators providing inter-state bus services. A subsidy of Rs 150 will be given on each seat in the peak season and Rs 300 in the off season. For this, a five -year contract has been signed between Bihar State Road Transport Corporation and private bus operators. This will increase the number and connectivity of buses coming to Bihar from other states.

35 crore 64 lakh rupees will be spent A total of 35 crore 64 lakh rupees will be spent on this entire project during five years. Apart from this, 2 percent i.e. 71 lakh 28 thousand rupees will also be for the Emergency Budget for running the scheme smoothly. On which the total expenditure will cost 36 crore 35 lakh 28 thousand rupees.

In the financial year 2025-26, it will cost Rs 7 crore 27 lakh 6 thousand from Bihar Emergency Fund. It is hoped that this time during Chhath and Durga Puja, the problem of bus tickets and high fares will be reduced to a great extent.
