NDA’s seat sharing and results in the last 2 assembly elections

LJP contested on 135 seats in 2020, Chirag is part of NDA this time
The 2020 elections were contested by the then Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) alone. The party had fielded its candidates on 135 seats. However, only one seat was won.
LJP had specifically fielded its candidates against the Janata Dal United (JDU), while not directly contesting against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
However, in June 2021, there was a split in LJP and Pashupati Paras’s party became Rashtriya Lok Janshakti Party (RLJPA), while Chirag’s party is LJP (Ram Vilas), which is a part of NDA in this election. Pashupati’s party is contesting the elections in alliance with the grand alliance.

Kushwaha fought on the third front in 2020, now with NDA
In the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections, Upendra Kushwaha’s party, Rashtriya Lok Samata Party (RLSP), had fielded candidates on 99 seats, but the party did not win any seats. The RLSP left the Grand Alliance (which was with the RJD and Congress) in the 2020 elections to form the Grand Democratic Secular Front (GDSF), which included the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Samajwadi Janata Dal Democratic (SJD), and other smaller parties. This time Kushwaha’s party Rashtriya Lok Morcha is part of NDA.

NDA partner Sahni in 2020 now in grand alliance
Mukesh Sahni’s Vikassheel Insaan Party (VIP) was a part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the 2020 Bihar Assembly elections. The party contested elections on 11 seats. BJP had given 11 seats to VIP out of its quota of 121 seats. Out of these 11 seats, VIP had won 4 seats.
Mukesh Sahni himself had contested the elections from Simri Bakhtiyarpur seat, but he had lost. Later all four VIP MLAs joined BJP. This time VIP is part of the grand alliance. Mukesh Sahni has many times declared himself a contender for Deputy CM.

Manjhi’s party contested on 7 seats in 2020
In the 2020 Bihar Assembly election, Jitan Ram Manjhi’s party, Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular) (HAM), contested 7 seats as part of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
These seats were given from JDU’s quota, as HAM was a small ally of NDA. HAM had won 4 of these 7 seats, mainly due to Manjhi’s hold on the Musahar (Mahadalit) community and his influence in areas like Gaya, Aurangabad, Nawada, Jehanabad, and Rohtas.
Manjhi supported Nitish Kumar’s government while in alliance with the NDA, and his party’s four seats were instrumental in forming the NDA government.
In 2015, HAM had contested 21 seats along with the NDA, but won only 1 seat (Manjhi’s).
