The Government of India has started this implant in Rajasthan under the pilot project for family planning. Its facility is being available in selected hospitals in Jaipur, Jodhpur and Udaipur. So far, more than 2500 women have felt this. Soon, training of women doctors is going on in hospitals across the state.

First of all, know what is all dermal contraceptive implant? All dermal contraceptive implants, which resemble a matchstick, are a chip similar to the rubber. If it is fitted in the woman’s body, then it gradually comes out a hormone like progesterone (controller). This hormone works to prevent pregnancy.

It is an application, through which all dermal contraceptive are implanted.
4 cm long and 2 mm wide implants are fitted under the skin some above the elbow via a special application in the woman’s arm. If the woman is right -handed, the stick is in reverse arm. In left -handed women, it appears directly on the side. After applying it, this stick does not look from outside, but it can be realized.
While applying it, the woman neither needs to faint nor does the operation theater require any kind of operation. This process of just 5 minutes is completely penless. The special thing is that all dermal contraceptives can be removed whenever you want. This also does not affect the woman’s ability to conceive.

So far 150 gynecologist took training So far, about 150 gynecologist in the state has taken training to implant. Dr. OB Nagar of the Women’s Hospital affiliated to SMS Medical College located in the capital Jaipur is training all doctors. Apart from the Women’s Hospital in the capital, doctors of Zanana Hospital, Gangauri Hospital, Jaipuria Hospital, Kantia Hospital have taken training.
Doctors from many districts including Udaipur, Ajmer are taking training. These doctors are being given training of all dermal contraceptives, removal skills, counseling, infection prevention.

Dr. OB Nagar, Senior Professor and Implant Trainer of the Women’s Hospital said that women doctors are being trained to implant it.
More than 1500 women installed only in Jaipur So far, more than two and a half thousand women have been implanted in 11 hospitals of selected cities of Rajasthan. These include hospitals in Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur districts. 880 implants have been installed in the Women’s Hospital in the capital Jaipur and 700 in Zanana Hospital. While 85 women have also got all the dermal contraceptive removal.
Experts said- other ways of contraception, it is more effective Dr. OB Nagar, Senior Professor and Implant Trainer of Women’s Hospital, says- It has now started in our country. This has been implanted in many countries. It is already being imposed in many countries including Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, South Africa. He said that women who do breastfeeding, children who do not seek can also be appointed. This implant is effective in contraception like sterilization. It can be easily applied and it can be removed when the child wants.

When can the contraceptive be implanted? All dermal contraceptive can be implanted at any time of period (menstruation), provided not pregnant. If done during the first five days of the period, it immediately prevents pregnancy. If we apply five days after the period, it is recommended to use contraception within 7 days.
How much money does it have to spend to invest it? Dr. OB Nagar informed that it is being implanted for free under the government’s family planning program.
Implant is effective in 3 years interval Dr. Obi Nagar said- It is beneficial for both mother and child (mother-son) to keep a difference of 3 years between one child to another. Applying it will not require contraceptive pills, copper tea and inner injections, sterilization.
