A 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred in some parts near Dharamshala in Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh at 9.28 pm on Monday night. Officials said the earthquake’s center was 23 km from Dharamshala. The earthquake came at a depth of 10 km from the ground. There is no news of loss of life and property from any part of the state. Kangra district comes in Sesmici Zone 5, which comes in a high damage risk zone.
