Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board has postponed the journey from 5 to 7 October. The Meteorological Department has feared landslides, floods and cloudburst due to heavy rains, due to which this decision has been taken.
The board took this step, giving priority to the safety of the passengers. During Navratri, more than 1.70 lakh devotees have visited the Vaishno Devi temple so far. The journey will be resumed when the weather is normal.
