Following the Allahabad High Court order, the acting Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar issued this order on Saturday. Said- No tendency to increase ethnic division in the society will be tolerated. There will be a challan of those who roam by writing caste on vehicles. Ethnic stickers will be removed. Caste based rallies will now be banned.

The government has taken this decision following the Allahabad High Court order.
1- Action on promoting caste on social media According to the order, action will also be taken against those who promote caste or condemn a caste on social media. The police will register an FIR against those posting such posts. Only those cases will be allowed to register caste, where there is legal obligation- such as the case registered under the SC-ST Act.
2- Caste based boards and banners will also be removed They will be immediately removed by such boards and cities in which a caste has been glorified. There will be strictness on putting such boards from now on.

Police will also take action on writing caste on vehicles.
3- There will be challan on the vehicles writing caste Many times on the streets, slogans like ‘Jat Hoon’, ‘Thakur Saheb’, ‘Pandit Ji’ appear on the streets. Now such vehicles will be challaned under the Motor Vehicle Act. The police ordered that all such stickers and slogans be removed.

Now read the matter on which the High Court has given this order to the government The police of Jaswant Nagar police station in Etawah stopped the Scorpio vehicle on April 29, 2023, in which three people including Praveen Chhetri were caught. 106 bottles of whiskey were recovered from the vehicle, which was for sale in Haryana. Also fake number plate was also found. In the seizure memo, the caste of the accused was written Mali, Hill Rajput and Thakur.
Based on this, another car was stopped, out of which 254 and bottle liquor was recovered. The owner of the second vehicle was recorded as Punjabi Parashar and Brahmin. The accused had confessed to smuggling liquor from Haryana to Bihar and calling Praveen Chhetri their gang leader.
After this, Praveen Chhetri had filed a petition in the Allahabad High Court to cancel criminal proceedings. During the hearing on 16 September, the High Court strongly objected to writing caste in the FIR and seizure memo of the case. Said- This practice is legal wrong, which weakens constitutional ethics and is a serious challenge for democracy.
After this, the High Court had ordered the government that there should not be police records and caste -based things in public places. The column of the caste should be removed in FIR, arrest memo, seizures and final reports.
To increase anti -caste awareness among the youth, he was asked to use platforms like Instagram, YouTube and WhatsApp. In addition, it was also suggested to create a portal and mobile app for civil complaint.
