For the first time, the Chandigarh Police is preparing a doseer of such criminals, which will have full details of their names, photos, criminal records and locations. The dosier will be prepared within a month and will be assigned to the CBI, which has been made a nodal officer by the Ministry of Home Affairs. This preparation includes all the police stations, operations cells, district crime cells and anti-nercotics task force in the city.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah has directed that the SOP should be prepared in collaboration with IB and NIA to bring back the Indian fugitives hidden abroad as soon as possible.
