He had alleged that Rahul Gandhi had called Veer Savarkar a ‘servant’ and ‘pensioner’ during a press conference in Akola, Maharashtra on December 17, 2022. After this, Rahul Gandhi was summoned to give controversial remarks and inflammatory speeches on Veer Savarkar.

3 cases against Rahul are already running in UP

  • A defamation case against Rahul is going on in the civil court of Sultanpur. This case is of 2018. In which BJP leader Vijay Mishra accused Rahul of defamation. The hearing of the case has been postponed several times and now the next hearing is on 28 April.
  • A case has also been registered in a Lucknow court due to a controversial statement on Rahul about Veer Savarkar. In this case, Rahul Gandhi was also fined 200 rupees and was ordered to appear in court personally on 14 April. But did not appear.
  • The hearing in the ongoing defamation case against Rahul in the MP-MLA court of Hathras will be held on April 24. Ramkumar alias Ramu of Bulgarhi village has filed this complaint. It is alleged that the youth who were convicted from the court were accused of gangrape.
