Congress leader Rahul Gandhi giving a presentation regarding the disturbances in the voter list.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday made allegations of disturbances in the voter list in different states. He gave a 22 -page presentation for 1 hour 11 minutes. In this presentation, he also mentioned Haryana for 1 minute.
,
Showing the map of Haryana on the screen, Rahul Gandhi said- ‘In the Haryana Assembly elections held in 2024, the Congress lost the entire state by just 22,779 votes.’ Rahul also showed the winning seats of Congress and BJP on the map.
Rahul further said that one lakh votes increased in an assembly in Haryana. In such a situation, you can think how fraudulently happened here. In one assembly itself, 12 to 15% of the votes increased and these votes are more important when the difference of victory and defeat in the election is between 2 to 4% of the votes.
Rahul blamed the Election Commission behind losing the Haryana election in his presentation. However, Rahul Gandhi did not say how many votes increased in which assembly nor did he mention any one assembly in the presentation.

These seats include Uchana Kalan, Charkhi Dadri, Hodal, Safido, Gharaunda, Assandh, Rai and Kharkhauda assembly. Uchana Kalan seat Congress lost by just 32 votes. Congress gives tough fight to BJP in Lok Sabha elections Voting was held for the Lok Sabha elections in May exactly 5 months before the assembly elections in Haryana. BJP and Congress won 5-5 seats in this election. The BJP got 46.11% votes, while the Congress got 43.67% votes. BJP’s vote share had declined by 12.09% in this election as compared to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, while Congress’s vote share increased by 15.25%.
After 2014, this was the weakest performance of the BJP in the state. The party won 7 out of 10 seats in the state in the 2014 Modi wave and all 10 seats in 2019. In 2024, BJP lost 5 seats. On the other hand, when it comes to Congress, it has done its best in the last 10 years. In 2014, the party won only the Rohtak seat and in 2019 it also lost. In 2024, the Congress returned to 5 seats. The Congress won the seats Rohtak, Sonepat, Hisar, Sirsa and Ambala. Apart from this, BJP won Karnal, Kurukshetra, Gurugram, Faridabad and Bhiwani-Mahendragarh seats.
