More than 1200 voters, only 690 votes cast Officials said 690 out of a total of 1295 existing and former MPs cast their votes. It is one of the highest voting ever in the election of club officials. The Lok Sabha Speaker is the ex -officio president of the club, but plays a very important role in the executive functioning of the Secretary Club.
Rudy has appealed to vote by citing adding several new facilities to the club during his tenure. At the same time, Balyan is talking about change. He says that the club should focus only on MPs and former MPs, not outsiders like IAS and PCS.
