The SIT team is going towards Parasia Court with the pharmaceutical company owner Govindan Ranganathan, who was arrested in the case of deaths of 25 children due to cough syrup. Bhaskar reporter Devendra Thakur is also traveling with the SIT vehicle. Earlier, the team reached Nagpur airport from Chennai by flight at around quarter to seven in the morning. As soon as they reached here, the SIT took Ranganathan running towards the car. After this the team left for Chhindwara by car.
Ranganathan was arrested from Chennai The SIT had taken into custody Ranganathan, owner of pharmaceutical company Srisan Pharmaceutical in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, in a raid on the intervening night of Wednesday and Thursday. The team left with Ranganathan by flight on Thursday night and reached Nagpur at around 6 in the morning.
Let us tell you that so far 25 children have died in Chhindwara, Betul and Pandhurna due to drinking Coldrif Cup syrup. This cough syrup was made in Govindan Ranganathan’s pharmaceutical company Srisan Pharmaceutical.
