In Jajpur district of Odisha, a woman pulled a crocodile to the river. The woman went to wash clothes in the river. The incident is on Monday (October 6) in the village of Kantia. The woman pulled the woman into the Kharsotra river. People present nearby arrived to help the woman but they could not save her. The video of this incident has gone viral on social media.
In the video, the crocodile woman is seen floating by pressing her hand in her mouth. The woman’s body and hair are visible there.
The 55 -year -old Saidamini went to wash clothes in the Mahala river. As soon as he landed in the river, a crocodile suddenly attacked and pulled it into the water.
Forest department started search operation
After this accident, the local people informed the forest department. The officials then conducted a search operation with the team of fire brigade, but nothing was found about the woman. The search operation is going on to search for women but no clue has been found so far. The local administration has appealed to the people living near the river to be vigilant and not to go into the river.
Let me tell you that a few months ago, a goat was dragged by a crocodile at this place, due to which there is an atmosphere of fear among the local people.
We tried to help but could not do anything
At the time of the incident, Naba Kishore Mahala, who was present there, told that when we saw that the crocodile was pulling the woman towards the river, we immediately jumped to help her, but all our efforts failed.
