A 10 -year -old child was killed and 12 people were injured in a cylinder burst on Friday in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The accident occurred at Chinnayangalya of Wilson Garden, Central Bangalore. It is a densely populated residential area, where the houses are adjacent to each other.
Police said the injured have been admitted to a nearby hospital. The rescue operation is still going on. The blast was so strong that 8 to 10 houses collapsed. The roofs of the asbestos sheet of many houses broke and the walls also fell.
Several pictures of the scene have been revealed. Dozens of these houses were transformed into debris. It is being told that people were sleeping in their homes at the time of the accident. According to police sources, there is a possibility of explosion due to the cylinder leaks.
