Kannada actor Darshan, who is jailed in the Renukaswamy murder case, has pleaded for poisoning in the jail. Darshan appeared in the 64th City Civil and Sessions Court on Tuesday through video conferencing.
He told the court that it is difficult for him to endure the situation inside the jail. Darshan said that I have not seen sunlight for several days due to lack of permission to go out in jail.
The actor said, ‘I have fun in my hands. My clothes smell. I can no longer live like this. Please, give me poison. Life has become unbearable here. I am facing serious problems in jail.
On the appeal of philosophy, the judge said that such things cannot be done. This is not possible. The court postponed the hearing of the case till 19 September to framing the charges.
The Supreme Court canceled the actor’s bail in August The Karnataka High Court granted bail to actor Darshan in December 2024 in the Renukaswamy murder case, but the Supreme Court canceled their bail on August 14, 2025 citing the possibility of witnesses tampering.
The bench of Justice JB Pardiwala and Justice R. Mahadevan ordered him to be detained again, saying that if he is out on bail, the case could be affected. The court also directed him not to provide any special facility in custody.
Darshan was arrested in June 2024 in connection with the murder and murder of 33 -year -old Renukaswamy, a 33 -year -old Renukaswamy resident of Chitradurga after kidnapping. The police allege that Renukaswamy was targeted after sending porn messages to Pavitra Gowda, a actor’s close actor. He was first kidnapped in Bengaluru, tortured and later found a body in a drain.
