Police seized Chaitanyanand’s Volvo car from the basement of Sri Sharda Institute, which had a fake diplomatic number plate.
Swami Chaitananand Saraswati alias Parthasarathi, who describes himself as a Godman at the Sri Sharda Institute of Indian Management-Rest in Vasant Kunj, Delhi, has been seriously accused of sexual harassment of many girl students.
According to the police, the accused used to get trapped in their trap by threatening the girl students, sending pornographic messages and greed for traveling abroad. He several times called the student to the room late at night and threatened to give less grade.
Police investigation has revealed that three women warden and faculty also helped the accused. She used to get the chats deleted by putting pressure on the girl students and asked them to remain silent. The accused is still absconding and his last location was found in Agra. Many teams of Delhi Police are continuously raiding.
An FIR was lodged against Chaitanyanand Saraswati alias Partha Sarathi on August 4 at Vasant Kunj North Police Station. He was then the head of the institute. He was expelled from the post on 9 August.
Accused targeted financially weak girl students The accused targeted the students of EWS quota as they were financially weak and were studying on scholarship. Police said, 32 girl students were questioned, out of which 17 lodged a complaint of sexual harassment and mental harassment directly.
So far, 16 students have recorded the statement in front of the magistrate. It was also revealed that some students were also given the pretense of foreign tour by the accused.
Call girls in the room and threaten to give less grade Police investigation has revealed that Chaitanyanand adopted a strategy of intimidating and giving the students. He often sent pornographic messages.
It would have been written in his message- Come to my room, I will take you abroad, you will not have to spend anything, if I do not listen to me, I will fail you in the exam. The accused would call the girl students in their room at night and threaten to give them less grade when refused.
Police raided Chaitanyanand’s locations a day earlier The police registered a case against the accused under Section 75 (2)/79/351 (2) of BNS at Vasant Kunj North Police Station and started investigation. After examining the CCTV footage, the accused’s locations were raided on Wednesday.
During this, a Volvo car was found parked in the basement of Shri Sharda Institute of Indian Management. It was learned that fake diplomatic number plate 39 Un 1 car owner Chaitanyanand was using. Police seized the car.
Criminal cases have already been registered against accused There are already several criminal cases against Swami Chaitanyanand Saraswati. In 2009, a case of fraud and molestation was registered against him in Delhi Defense Colony.
In 2016, a woman in Vasant Kunj filed a case of molestation against her. However, not much information related to Chaitanyanand’s personal life has been revealed yet.
