The Delhi Police has arrested the person who did a shameful act in the virtual hearing of the court. The accused attended the video conference wearing only undergarments and kept drinking alcohol-cigarettes.
Despite the court warning to go out several times, he did not come out and obstructed the hearing. The incident is on 16 and 17 September. The accused had added himself to the video conference under the name Aqib Akhlaq.
After the incident, Tis Hazari Court record keeper Anshul Singhal lodged a police complaint. Police investigation revealed that in order to avoid arrest, the accused kept changing their location with several fake email IDs.
After much research, the police arrested the accused from Chaman Park area of old Mustafabad. His name is Mohammad Imran (32), who hails from Gokulpuri area.

During interrogation, he told that he had heard an acquaintance about the Webex app, through which the court hearing is held. Due to curiosity, he joined and jokingly committed this action. Police recovered mobile phones, SIM cards and WiFi routers from him from which he used to attend the court hearing.
Police said that Imran is a history -sheeter criminal of Delhi and more than 50 cases have been registered against him, including robbery, snacks and other crimes. He previously worked as an AC mechanic, released from jail in 2021, but again joined criminal activities.
He told the police that he is addicted to intoxication and alcohol and committing incidents like theft and stolen to fulfill this addiction. The police arrested him and started investigating the case.
