Speaker Om Birla in the Lok Sabha on Tuesday gave approval for the impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma of Allahabad in the cash scandal case. The speaker said, ‘I have received a proposal with a total of 146 members, including Ravi Shankar Prasad and the Leader of the Opposition. In this, there is a demand to remove Allahabad High Court Justice Yashwant Verma from the post. The speaker has formed a 3 -member committee for investigation.
