Nitish Kumar has made another big announcement in the election year. Nitish Kumar wrote on X on Monday- ‘Since the formation of the government in November 2005, we have been working continuously to improve the education system.’

‘A large number of teachers have been appointed for strengthening the education system. In the reinstatement of teachers, the Education Department has been instructed to make necessary amendments in the relevant rules to give priority to the residents of Bihar.
This will be implemented from TRE-4 itself. TRE-4 in the year 2025 and TRE-5 in the year 2026 will be organized. It has also been directed to organize STET before organizing TRE-5.
Domicile policy implemented in government job, women of the state will get 35% reservation
Prior to this, the Bihar government has implemented a domicile policy for women. Now women will get the benefit in government jobs. Women from outside Bihar will be added to the general category. Earlier, women from other states also got the benefit of 35% reservation. Now only women of Bihar will get benefit.

Nitish government’s big decisions in election year

1. Asha and Mamta increased honorarium
Before the elections, the Nitish government has increased the honorarium of Asha and Mamta workers in Bihar. The Chief Minister had announced and said- ASHA workers will now be provided an incentive amount of Rs 3 thousand instead of 1 thousand rupees. Besides, Mamta workers will be provided an incentive amount of Rs 600 instead of Rs 300 per delivery. This will further boost their morale and will strengthen health services in rural areas.
This decision of the government will benefit 1 lakh ASHA workers in Bihar, 5 thousand Asha Facilitator and more than 5 thousand Mamta workers. According to the information, there are about 1 lakh ASHA workers in Bihar. In such a situation, if an ASHA worker has 5 members in the family, then the government has targeted only about 5 lakh families.
2. 125 units of electricity will be available in Bihar
People of Bihar will get 125 units of electricity for free. Also, domestic consumers will also get the benefit of solar energy in the next three years. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced this on X on Thursday.
The CM told on X- ‘We are providing electricity to everyone at cheaper rates from the beginning. Now we have decided that from August 1, 2025, that is, all the domestic consumers of the state will not have to pay any electricity to 125 units from the bill of July.
3. Government will provide 1 crore jobs and employment in 5 years
The Bihar government has decided that 1 crore new jobs and employment opportunities will be made in the coming 5 years (from 2025 to 2030). For this, a high level committee will be formed, which will be chaired by the Development Commissioner. This committee will see what else can be done to increase employment and will advise the government. This will give financial strength to the youth of the state and will boost industries. Increased industry will also bring new investment opportunities in the state. The decision to give Rs 6000 in addition to the annual honorarium to the Blo-Supervisor engaged in Bihar voter list verification has been approved.
4. Marriage halls will be built in more than 8 thousand panchayats
In the election year, the Nitish government has decided to construct marriage building in more than 8 thousand panchayats for convenience in the marriage program of daughters of poor families in rural areas.
Its name has been given the marriage pavilion scheme. For this, the government has approved 40 billion 26 crore 50 lakh rupees. These marriage buildings will be operated on behalf of Jeevika Dadis.

5.686 crore rupees will be spent on 1 lakh youth of Bihar, 6 thousand will be available for internship
The Bihar government will give monthly internship of 4 to 6 thousand rupees monthly to more than one lakh youths aged 18 to 28 years. Along with financial assistance to these youth, Nitish Cabinet Mukhyamantri-Pratiya Yojana has been approved to provide business training.
6. In ‘Didi Ki Kitchen’, a plate will be available for 20 rupees instead of 40
On behalf of the government, food is provided in government medical colleges, hospitals and government institutions from ‘Didi Ki Kitchen’ at Rs 40 per plate. The Bihar government reduced its rate in the election year. It has now been decided to give a plate of 40 rupees for 20 rupees. Compensation of Rs 20 per plate will be made available to livelihood by the state government.

‘Didi’s kitchen’ is being run with the help of Jeevika Didi. Poor people and food are also sent to hospitals from here.
7. Government will give 20 lakhs on purchasing new bus
The state government has decided that if a private bus operator purchases a new AC bus for inter -state routes, the government will give it an incentive amount of Rs 20 lakh on every bus.
A total of 30 crore rupees will be given for 150 buses. Also, approval has been given to spend an additional 60 lakh rupees for running the scheme properly. The total expenditure will be 30.60 crores.

8. Guru-Shishya tradition plan was also approved
The cabinet has also approved the Chief Minister’s Guru-Shishya tradition scheme to save the extinct folk arts. The Guru will be given 15000 monthly honorarium to the composer 7500 and the disciple 3000 monthly honorarium. The government has planned to save extinct folk arts. Under this, training will be imparted in a traditional way to preserve genres like folk saga, folk drama, folk dance, folk music, instruments, classical art and painting.

9. Civil Services Incentive Scheme for Divyang
In the election year, the Bihar government has launched a new scheme, named Divyangjan Civil Services Incentive Scheme. Its benefit will be given to the disabled men backward class, general class or economically weaker section (EWS) candidates.
However, it has to be ensured that they are not getting any financial help from any other Civil Services Preparation Scheme in the state. In such a situation, if you pass the preliminary examination of BPSC or UPSC, then they will be given Rs 50 thousand for the preparation for the main examination and Rs 1 lakh for the preparation for the interview.
10. Pension of journalists in Bihar increased to 15 thousand
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced to increase the pension of journalists. Under the Bihar Journalist Samman Pension Scheme “, now journalists will get a pension of Rs 15,000 per month instead of 6,000. The Chief Minister has also given instructions to implement it immediately.
The Chief Minister also announced that the dependent husband or wife of journalists who have died will also be given a pension of Rs 10,000 per month. Earlier this amount was only 3,000 rupees. This decision has been taken keeping in mind his respectable living.
