EC said disturbances in the speech-voter list, if they get objections on time

The Election Commission issued a press note stating that complaints of disturbances or error in the voter list should have been made during the fixed period of ‘claims and objections’. During that time objections were lodged, the Election Registration Officer (ERO) could have corrected by examining them.

ECI said that now complaining about the voter list of the last elections is just making noise, while no initiative was taken at the right time. The Commission reiterated that if anyone has objections in future, then it should be recorded within the fixed process and time.
