The Election Commission (ECI) on Saturday gave strict advice to political parties and leaders on allegations of vote theft. The Commission said that it is wrong to question the disturbances in the voter list of old elections, because the process fixed for this and time was already present. The Commission said,
Political parties are also involved in the entire process of preparing the voter list. But many parties and their booth level agents did not look at the draft list properly nor did it lodge any objection in time.
In fact, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Thursday gave a 22 -page presentation for 1 hour and 11 minutes on the disturbances in the voter list. During this time, he along with the Election Commission along with the BJP accused the Lok Sabha in Karnataka and the assembly elections in Haryana-Maharashtra.
EC said disturbances in the speech-voter list, if they get objections on time
The Election Commission issued a press note stating that complaints of disturbances or error in the voter list should have been made during the fixed period of ‘claims and objections’. During that time objections were lodged, the Election Registration Officer (ERO) could have corrected by examining them.
ECI said that now complaining about the voter list of the last elections is just making noise, while no initiative was taken at the right time. The Commission reiterated that if anyone has objections in future, then it should be recorded within the fixed process and time.

Congress MP Rahul Gandhi said on August 12, ‘There are not only one seat but many seats, where the voter list is being disturbed. This is being done systematically at the national level. Rahul said-
The Election Commission knows this and we also know. Earlier there was no evidence, but now we have evidence. We are protecting the constitution. One person is the foundation of one vote constitution. It is the duty of EC to implement the ‘one person one vote’, but he did not do so. We have been doing this and will continue to do this.
On August 12, opposition MP arrived in Parliament wearing a T -shirt with a photo of Minta Devi. It was claimed that Minta Devi is the first time voter of 124 years in the voter list of Bihar Election Commission.
August 10: Election Commission asks for evidence from Rahul
Karnataka Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) sent notice to Congress leader Rahul Gandhi seeking evidence on his vote theft statement. On August 7, Rahul alleged that more than 1 lakh votes were stolen in Mahadevpura assembly seat and a woman voted twice.

August 8: EC said that Rahul’s claims are correct and signed affidavits
The Election Commission has asked Congress MP Rahul Gandhi to sign his claim of vote theft and sign on the affidavit. If they do not trust their claims, then apologize to the country.
News agency ANI gave information about this by quoting sources in the Election Commission. According to sources, Rahul believes that if his allegations on the Election Commission are true, then he should not have any problem in signing the affidavit.
